Paper Wasting

I feel really terrible when I print something out or use an unneccesary piece of paper. my school doesn't have recycling bins anymore, so it's harder to get them someplace to recycle them. I would take them home to put them in the recycle, but there isn't any room in my backpack due to giant paper-consuming unneccessary books. Otherwise known as textbooks. I wish we could all just email assignments to teachers. It would make me feel so much less guilty.

for all you writers

ok, so this is for all of you writers out there. we use a lot of paper, right? constantly erasing again and again and then we just give up and throw it out. there goes a whole piece of paper!!!!! that's part of a tree and it's not really helping much, so here's my suggestion;
-if you don't already, get a blog and type it up that way people can give comments and help improve your writing as well as saving trees. if you are not comfortable typing your story on a blog type it up online. that way you can delete as much as you want and not ruin the paper and it needs to be typed up anyway.
that is my idea, so if you're a writer maybe give it a shot.

So. here's a question for you all...

How many of you are vegetarians?? 'Cause i know that's a big step towards saving the planet. I'm a veggie, myself, though I'm considering cutting out eggs.

To any of you who are Vegetarians, you've probably gotten the question "How do you get enough protien?" plenty of times and perhaps it's left you wondering how you can get more of the protien you need withput having to resort to eggs, or 'pre-packaged chicken abortions', as they are sometimes called. But I have a few tips for anyone willing to listen:

First off, there are three grains that contain a full protien: Quinoa (keen-wah), Spelt and Amaranth. My favorite is quinoa because it makes a really good porridge. and it's easy to get.

Other ways to get full protiens are to mix seeds and nuts because they contain the corresponding protiens that you need.

Another thing that i get from health teachers and people like that is questions about getting B-vitamins, which are found most prominently in meat. However, all i have to tell them is that i drink yerba mate(mah-tay) which contains B-vitamins. There are also several vegetables(though i can't recall them right now) that contain you B's and are easily found in a grocery store.

A few other benefits of being a vegetarian are that you will start to smell sweet not stinky if you eat healthy (that means not becoming a junk food vegetarian, and truly embracing vegetables, not just giving up meat), and you'll notice that you get less tired and can focus a lot easier.

Not to mention, if we were to no longer have cows, we could use all of their pastureland to feed the entire world for several years and reduce the worlds largest source of greenhouse gas emmissions. And isn't that what this whole blog is about?

So, I hope at least of few of you have taken or would like to take the leap into the veggie world, and that you find these few things helpful!

PS. for more info on yerba mate, go to my blog. well, this page of my blog, anyways.

Adios!

SAVE THE EARTH!!!!!!!! ok guys so i was doing some research and then i decided that i would come up with my own tip right out of my own mind!!!! so this is what i thought of:
  1. instead of a bookmark use a piece of grass or a leaf (got this idea from Emerald's blog Guiding Light - hope u don't mind Emerald)
  2. if u like to write... use both sides of the paper and if u can write small double up so their is 2 lines in one
  3. if u r mowing ur lawn and ur neighbor needs theirs mowed then mow it - u'll prvent some fossil fuels from entering the atmosphere
  4. don't just crumple up paper when ur mad and throw it out!! go do something active outdoors (sports, tree-climbing, running, play with ur brothers or sister -if u hav any-, play with pets ect)
  5. RECYCLE OLD CLOTHES!!!! i think u guys could do this one! all you have to do is give ur clothes away to a shelter or to a younger sibling or family member. if u wantd to make some extra cash u could even sell them in a mini yard sale
think about it guys. every person who makes an effort helps the earth even more.

Ok guys, so I found this really cool blog; http://livelaughlovedreamimagine.blogspot.com/ you should check it out. I know this isn't about anything to do with the earth, but I'm at a blank. So I'll just say...
"REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE" I think that's getting old, but it will help the earth.

Check it out!

Enlightenment

Ok guys, think about this:
We are the last chance this earth has to survive. This generation has the fate of the world on our shoulders. If we don't help the earth now while we still can it will die. And if the earth dies so do we. So there. Is that enough motevation for you to get your but moving to save the earth?

Think about it,

Who believes that madness will happen in 2012 if so all the hard work we've done for the planet is done for and i don't get to go to college

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

Ok you guys all suck at posting. how many members do we have? not one post. so im going to do what i do on my blog, which is basicly rant pointlessly, except here im going to make it have something to do with the environment. so.... on the topic of the cash for clunkers thing. does it actually work? i have been reading up on it since i have nothing better to do and i realised that they dont actually do anything with the so called "clunkers". they simply crush them and put them in a large pile (not sure if they're recycled or not). and how much of an incentive is 4500 dollars anyway? my car cost 6000 and it was a cheap santa fe. with a racing stripe. ok getting a little off topic here, but continuing on with a different topic... um i cant really think of anything cuz im stupid, but i'll definitely post more

Gravitron.

so, thought i might as well throw ths out there and see what you guys think of my dad's invention. It's an alternate source of energy he calls the gravitron.

How it works is there's these incredibly heavy falling gyros that spin as they fall. they come to the bottom of a track where the power of their energy can be harnessed. Then their own inertia and the force of the spinning carries them back up to the top (which would be a couple hundred feet high) where they roll over and fall down again.

But don't be fooled into thinking this is perpetual motion. It's not. It doesn't go the same pace all the way around, it slows down as it's reaching the top. and you don't just apply your energy once and watch it go. Every time it falls gravity is being reapplied, thus keeping it going for as long as it needs to.

The only real costs of it are making the thing and occasional repairs (though how the heck do you break a couple-ton metal gyro?) and it's not incredibly hard to do either one of them. not to mention it would take the emissions of coal and oil burning down to nothing and we could have fully electric cars that are powered by gravitrons that line the roads every x number of miles. Of course, the calculations would be tedious to find the perfect balance of cars to gravitrons to distance and yadda yadda. I'll leave that to someone that likes math. =D

But yeah, I'd love to hear your feedback on it and any ideas for improvement you can think of. and who knows, maybe in a few years my dad can get a patent on it or funding from somewhere to make it.

Well.

It's a fact of life. People kill other people and animals to get what they want. Is it worth it? no. It makes me sick to my stomach. I wish people would just leave other people alone. I mean, if they're gonna be nice, then okay, they can do what they want. If theyre just gonna terrorize/annoy/be mean to others......seriously, what's the point? by the time you get what you want you could just as easily rightfully earned it. If you want someone to die, or if you want revenge.....just wait. Everyone you hate will eventually die. :)

Storm

And there she stands. As tall and flowing as the day i met her.

I did it. I don't know how but i did. Yes, it finally happened. She has come back. Storm... is ... is ... alive. Its a great a wonderful sight to see her and yet, something is different, as if she knows she left, but that's ridiculous. The moon people were offended by us leaving yes, but we made it home fine. We are now back on earth, and have given up on basically everything.

i have changed the course of history, well on the moon anyway. the world seems like a darkened colder place to me now. Everyone is leaving, and death is not a sight i want to see again, and yet, i know i will, and it is something we wish upon each other(or other people) everyday.

I might say i wish people dead, but i really never mean it. and after this i never will.

So here I return Storm to her rightful place on this planet and blog, and i leave you all for this shall be my last post on all blogs. I will comment from time to time and i will pass the admin privileges to someone else for save the world... or i won't. My blogs will stay, but i will not. Good bye forever(or at least a while_

So this blog has been here for a while now. and well..... it has come quite a way since it first began. I would like to thank all the contributors, followers, random anonymous people, and anyone who has been here in the last who know s how long (since Oct 14 2008) not that i looked it up or anything. but its been a while, especially for anything i typically can do.

but yeah, ANYWAY! don't waste water. that's bad. use solar power where you can, like to light outside, they have these solar lights at like target and stuff the sit out during the day and are floodlights, or spotlights, or tiki-looking lights, at night. SO GO GET SOME AND SAVE THE WORLD

does it mean that it's okay to pollute the atmosphere?

Another update on Starbucks.

So, you know thier plastic cups? Well, they are made of 15% less plastic and are made with 45% less carbon emmisons that regular plastic cups... :) so fill up yer cup with starbucks!

Carbon Dioxide Emissions.

Alright, I find this sickening, The united states is the leading emission output of CO2...6,049,435 metric tons of CO2 is sent into the atmoshpere by the united states. That's only 22.2% of it. Ew right? That's our air, and at least for me, my generation's ozone layer. I have to live the rest of my life knowing that all of us are making global warming (which is a natural process) move at a very, very, fast and unnaturaul rate. And it's not over yet. We have to start doing something about this soon, or else we're going to have more problems trying to fix our planet...

~darkhorizon.

Water powered cars?

I'm sorry if somebody has already posted something about this, but it's important. H2O powered cars are real, and here. Amazing right? BMW has a model already and Hyunda is starting to make them. http://waterpoweredcar.com/ this website has info on them, and I think it is a great idea, and all those fossil fuels we're burning will no longer output harmfull emmisions into our atmostphere, which is depleting our ozone layer. Simple for us, better for the enviroment. I don't believe there are any downsides to this new h2o car. It's not just a dream anymore.

If you want to lose our world disrespect it. If you wont to see every animal die go ahead and kill them.So few words so much destruction.

If you wanna see the world don't litter. If you wanna see animals dont kill them. Take care of our planet! So much meaning in so few words.

hey guys

I figured you guys might want to read something....Y'know how we talk about child abuse, murder and criminal acts? Well, I'm reading the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson......It makes you feel more emotion when you here the words muder or child abuse. It's an amazing way to see through the eyes of someone who deal with that.....It's very cool....Just a suggestion.

Starbucks coffee is helping the planet.

Seriously! Who knew drinking the richest coffee could help the enviroment? For every coffee you buy they donate some of the money to Conservation International, which is an organization that helps conserve acers of rainforests at a a time, which in turn, keeps 100 tons of CO2 out of the atmosphere. You know what else starbucks is doing? If you bring in your own personal mug, they deduct 10 cents off your bill, and you save a paper cup. They also used recycled paper for thier cups. And the lids are made of recycled plastic. So go get some coffee!

ANTIMATTER

(I put it in green to show i care about the environment)

well now my font is ****ed up

just great

anyway

back to antimatter

nuclear power plants opperate at 1.5 percent efficiency. on the other hand, antimatter works at near 100 percent effeciency. the downside: highly reactable and will explode if it contacts anything, even air. so far scientistshave made it one atom at a time, but could it get dangerous?

well i can't put up a poll, but i want some oppinions on this

ok...

umm hi... i would first like to know who the head cheese here is. get it? headcheese? heehee ANYWOO umm i have NO idea why i was asked to contribute to this blog but i am guessing i have to write something about saving the world *rolls eyes* first of all EGGS ARE NOT BABY CHICKENS they are eggs that have not been fertilized so that means you are not killing anything same with milk. i have to say i think it is really mean and gross to eat fish egg and Lamb meat or any other baby. i believe in a lot of things about saving the world but there is a point of "thou art obsesive" if you know what i mean and Meat is very good for you it helps build muscle and is good for other things so i dont want to hear any crap about meat not being good for you because i looked it up so that is all i have to say so bye bye

Peace,
Kansas

P.S. go here

Phew

Okay
Cows...or animals can't be blamed for OUR mistakes.
Meat is not that bad for you. Of course veggies are better, but I can't live without meat.

Conserving water!

Keep a milk carton in your shower and save some of the water that you use to flush the toilet. How? Keep the carton in the shower as it fills with water, then when you NEED to flush, dump some of the carton of water into the toilet and the toilet will flush on it's own without wasting as much water as it would normally.

Take shorter showers. OR if you want to be real anal about it turn on the water enough to get wet, do what you need to do to get clean (shampoo, etc) then rinse and get out.

Don't leave the water running when brishing your teeth or washing the dishes.

....If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down (keep the lid closed in between though...if you can stand to do that)

um....Make sure the dishwasher is completely full (don't break it though) before running it. Same with wahers.

If washing a car, turn OFF the hose after you have wet/rinsed the car.

Don't use water fountains as much.

OKAY MY POINT NOW

JUNK MAIL! I don't know oif I have said this before but it is really really pathetic how much PAPER junk mail we get in our mailboxes. It got to the point where I put a sign in my mail box saying "Please hold all mass-marketing mail" And guess what. I ONLY GET WHAT I NEED. And it is so nice to open the mail box and not get attacked by MARKETING. Don't we get enough of it watching TV and being on the Computer? And let's face it, mail is nearly a thing of the past. Letters and Cards are occasional but most people just said an e-mail or print out their coupons.

Just a thought. Kind of along the lines of SAve THe WOrld and SAve THe TRees too. (SAVE THE RAINFORESTS) Stuff like that, but important.

That and useless worksheets that teachers give us. I recycles my french stuff from last year and I had an entire BLACK GARBAGE bag FULL of JUNK. (In total I have three black garbage bags, and that's not including EVERYTHING that I recieved. Wasteful we are.

I was also kind of thinking about this...morbid as it may be.

Has anyone ever really thought about coffins now? These fancy things for people to be placed into the ground? Expensive and no offense, but a waste of material. Some are still made of wood, but waht about the chemicals that are being put into the earth? The paint? The metal pieces? I think that it is both cheaper and more earth friendy to be cremated. (Morbid, I know, but it's somewhat true.) I don't know, the people that we're burying aren't thinking much about how the earth will be turning out, now will they?

I think that that covers it...

random....

is it just me or is this blog getting a little off topic?? well i have just been told (by a very, very, VERY strange person) that we need to stop using cars so much. the gas is part of the reason that we have a hole in the ozone layer which is causing the innocent penguins and polar bears to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW DO WE DO THIS???:
-carpool, bike, or ride the bus to school or sporting events
-try to cut down on mowing the lawn
-in the winter shovel more (i know that u could just use the snowblower, but that is opening up the hole and it will keep you in shape and help burn callories - by shoveling)
-if it's close enough - bike to the store or mall
-if it's not close enough - get a group of people that you know that need to go and go together in one car
-walk or bike to work
-carpool with co-workers to get to work
-try to ride the school bus as much as you can (if not carpooling)
by doing these things we together can help save this earth from utter disaster (which i'm almost positive people don't want)
LET'S HELP KEEP THE EARTH LIVING INSTEAD OF JUST SITTING BACK AS THE END COMES NEARER........
LET'S SAVE THIS EARTH, IT'S UP TO THIS GENERATION OF KIDS AND ADULTS TO PERSERVE THIS EARTH.........
GO EARTH SAVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (if the earth does end, at least we can say that we tried to make a difference and tried to save this earth)
IT'S UP TO US....
THINK ABOUT IT............................................

I have decided to post YAY

STOP THE DEFORESTATION!!!! STOP DESTROYING THEIR HABITATS!!! STOP THE POACHING!!! SAVE THE CUTE ANIMALS! NOW!!

Animals that need to be saved because of habit destruction and poaching include:

The Clouded Leopard

The Red Wolf

The Asiatic Cheetah:

Short-tailed Chinchilla

The Marine Otter

The Iberian Lynx (one of the rarest animals in the world)

These are just a few of the many animals that suffer because of humans. They are hunted for their fur. Their habitats are destroyed in different ways. It must stop or we will lose these wonderful creatures that share our planet. The Earth doesn't just belong to humans, it also belongs to the animals, fish, insects and even plants.

Nothing to do with Saving the World, yet interesting

THE BIG SHOWDOWN IS COMING

Sonar found out that he was “created to stop/kill” Radar. But how much of this do YOU think is possible? Come to my blog (www.flyonforever.blogspot.com) and vote on who YOU think would win the battle.

Personally, I cannot say because unfortunately, both are my friends. However, I believe that the prophecy in Harry Potter “Neither Shall Live While The Other Survives” might prove true here as well.

Let’s see what the readers think the outcome will be. I’m extremely curious on who the readers have more faith in.

Let the voting begin.

Here's an intersting fact I learned in my Earth&Space Science class today :

*Using Geyser powerd plants [power plants?] for energy is extremly cost efficient.

obvioulsy it does no harm to the enviroment, and you are using enrgy that is other wise deminished into the air. [that may not be possible. becuase I don't think you can destroy enrgy.]

It may take more time to recieve more energy, because it takes awhile to fill up the water chambers so that the geyser will blow again, but it sure beats neclear power plants!

Don't you think?

New Girl

so i'm the new girl on this blog. well i guess saving the world is something everyone wants to do at one point and now is the piont where i believe that saving the world is the way to go. so my first save the world thing is actually
SAVE THE WOLVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u c, wolves r my fav animal and people are killing them left and right. people claim that wolves are dangerous and they kill them. wolves wouldn't be so dangerous if people weren't killing their food and destroying their natural haitat. so all u hunters, try not to kill so many rabits, deer, and other things that wolves eat. then maybe they would stop coming so close to humans and getting killed. also, u builder peoples
STOP CUTTING DOWN SO MANY GOD DAMN TREES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry bout the language, this is something i feel very strongly about.
SAVE THE WOLVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Silvana and Baina

Um...Hi
We are new to this blog.
Just wanted to...you know. Say hi, and introduce ourselves.

We would separate into two blogs but it was easier to share this one and since we're twins, well I guess it doesn't really matter...

I for one would love to see an eclipse and I found that article real interesting. (The one below, that Tilla posted)

I know this is fairly short and has nothing to do with Saving the World, but we just wanted to say hi.

Silvana and Baina Emerson

Just an interesting thing I saw

PARIS (AFP) – A few lucky people in the Indian Ocean will be treated to a rare event on Monday when an annular solar eclipse will transform the Sun into a dark disc with a blazing ring-shaped corona around its rim.

In solar eclipses, the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, casting its shadow on the terrestrial surface.

In an annular eclipse, a tiny shift in distance that results from celestial mechanics means the Moon does not completely cover the Sun's face, as it does in a total eclipse.

Instead, for those directly under the alignment, the Moon covers most of the Sun's surface, and a ring-like crown of solar light blazes from the edge of the disk.

For those watching from the fringe of the track, the Sun is partially obscured, as if a bite has been taken out of it.

According to veteran NASA eclipse-watcher Fred Espenak, the total eclipse track will run from west to east on Monday from 0606 GMT to 0952 GMT.

It will traverse the Indian Ocean and western Indonesia before petering out just short of Mindanao, the Philippines.

The partial eclipse will be seen in a much wider swathe, including the southern third of Africa, Madagascar, Australia, Southeast India, Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

It will be the only annular solar eclipse this year. The last was on 7 February, 2007, and after Monday, the next one will be on 15 January, 2010.

The big event for eclipse junkies this year is on July 22, when a total solar eclipse will be visible from India and China, the world's two most populous countries.

soooo...

well, i haven't posted on here yet and i decided, "hey, wh not? might as well let thepeoples here know that I'm alive and kickin' still." so, here i am posting. about what, i have yet to decide.

alright, i may have decided.

it's so unfortunate that our generation(assuming that the majority of people here happen to be of my generation) is inheriting the planet the way it's becoming. it's quite unfortunate. I know hat a lot of adults of the baby boomer generation(my parents and likely yours) want to help the environment and everything, but i've noticed that there's a lot of "It's not my problem 'cause I'm gonna be long gone by then" attitude among them. And all of the systems(government, school, work) are encouraging us to become just like them because, according to them, that's the only way we're ever gonna survive in the world. what we really need to do, though, is break out of the "man's" shackles and take the earth into our own hands. 'cause not a lot of other people seem to be wanting to do much except our generation.and even then there's those of us that have already been indoctrinated into the baby boomer way of thinkning and think that all we need is money which can be gotten by going into businesses that use up our natural resources and pollute the environment. It's just not right! Or fair! i know, i now, life isn't fair! but i think we deserve a chance to try and repair the world without the other generations getting in our way. they should be trying to help us, not carrying on with destructive ways of life!!

It gets to me sometimes, i gotta say.

The moral of the story is try to get as many people as possible thinkning about the ennvironment before money. I know how hard it is in todays society, which revolves almost COMPLETELY around money, but i know it's worth a try and we can do it iif there's enough people helping!! After all, I'd like to see us inherit the world in one piece and as healthy as we can get it.

Here's some people saving the world!! awesome stuff here!!

The world is doomed. Embrace it, but just not yet.

This is reporter doctor Hector Shade here. Or just Nathaniel. You know what I find is funny? No matter what we do, the earth is doomed. YAY! Well, give it a couple billion years. BOOOOOO! One day our sun will die out, and then explode, sucking us into the black hole left behind. Isn't that scrumptious!

Now, I'm not for global warming, or the destruction of the earth, but we, as a generation are trying to act so much better, but aren't we doing the same thing we always do? Shifting the world's next big problem onto the next generation's shoulders? If you guessed yes, then your right! Because human kind is bound to screw up again. Why? Because we're human kind! It's what we do best! And keep in mind, global warming isn't entirely our fault. It is a natural occurrence. Not saying that we aren't screwing up though, because global warming was blown out of proportion by, who else? US! HIGH FIVE FOR US SCREW UPS!

But there will be another problem, that will be just as threatening. And the next generation will be like "HEY! HOW DID YOU NOT SEE THIS COMING!? JESUS! Well, looks like generation peanut needs to clean up! HIGH FIVE! Who gets to save the world this time? PEANUT! PEANUT!" and then once they do, there will be a documentary about it, and at the end it will say. "And so generation Peanut pulled together to stop the Juicy Fruit disaster." and we'll feel ashamed that we didn't see the Juicy Fruit disaster coming. Our only consolation will be that our disaster had a better name. And some day hundreds of years from now, in a social studies text book our story will be told, and it will be really really boring to listen to. And some kid will say. "Look at these plaknars! It took them forever to stop ol' GW!" and then the teacher will say. "Now now Irk. Those were different times. Uh oh! Look out, another wave of Blazing Photon is coming! Prepare your desk shields!" then the boy will say. "Looks like generation Laser Fang is going to have to save the earth! Stupid generation Hydro Pump." And the teacher will look down in shame.

My point is, besides that we can't compete with a disaster named Blazing Photon, or a generation called Laser Fang, that if or when we do, don't act so smurky about it, because the human race is going to have a lot of problems to it's bitter black holey end. And don't frown too much on the human race. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, and we have a hell of a lot of weak links. We produce smart, and great people. We have produced heroes, but not everyone is a hero. So let's save the world from global warming, and do what we can about the next problem, die, and be yammered on about in a text book by a teacher from a generation named after a Pokemon attack, and be happy that we served our purpose.

KEEP ON ROCKING!

Nathaniel.

Good Afternoon Bloggers

Response to the last post and it's comments (it was getting too long to be a comment so I decided to post it instead)

As we learned in our former government and economics class before we had to start running for our lives again, scientists are thinking about taking the salt out of salt water to provide more freshwater. There isn't really many options for that one that I can think of at the moment...

(Lilac in the background) ...not many ways that are PEACEFUL anyhow...

Yeah, Lilac thinks that we should cause a great explosion that takes human population down to a couple million. Sure like THAT'S gonna do any good. *sarcasm*

Anyway, I can say for a fact that Echo has hugged a tree, I definitely have not and Lilac...well maybe hugged it in a sense that she was in it trying to hide and not fall out of the tree.

This is a blog where people gather to discuss the monstrosities of the earth whether or not we can do anything about it. It is NOT a cult, Radar. It a place where we can simply express our opinions and band together. It is after all OUR generation and our children's and grand children's generation that get stuck with the older generations mistakes.

Unfortunately, last year in a Global Studies class I found that half of the school we were attending couldn't care less about what happened to our earth. THIS is what the few of us who DO actually care have to deal with. People who don't care one way or the other. I think that that is PATHETIC

(Lilac) ...and weak...lazy...stupid...

Right...We aren't saying that we are obsessive tree huggers, but at least we CARE to a degree about what happens to the earth. After all, whatever comes of the earth, effect ALL humans. We are here because we want to try, however little we can do, to do something to make a difference. (Hint hint, instead of JUST ranting on the blog, rant, but participate where you live)

J.Pan probably got mad at the tree for a branch or something falling on her or whatnot. You should have see what she TRIED to do when challenging the ocean after a wave nearly knocked her over.

How can one tell when ones dog...never mind...

Question: Are we suck-ups?

Seth here. So, like, i'm new to this whole thing, and I sometimes think that some things get a little tree-huggery. But sometimes things actually make rational sense.

97% of the earth is water. Now is all that water drinkable fresh water? No. Of course not. That would just make life so much easier, and that's not how things roll. 3% of the earth's water is fresh water, and two percent of that is frozen at either poles of the world. Which leaves me to the conclusion that 1% goes to human beings. There are billions of us freakazoids on the earth, and we all share the water.
Now it's up to you to decide what to do about it.

Over,
Seth.

(P.S. How'd I get invited to this surorrity anyway? I'm not even a tree hugger.)

The Endless Building

Hey, It's Moonwolf posting for the First time on this Blog! WooT!

I've realized that Human beings are always building bigger or better things, even though Oh-so-long ago we didn't need all of these fancy stuff...all we needed was a cave and some sticks! Does anyone know why Human beings need to build so much? We build and build, but it all gets torn down anyway!

My question is this:Why are we always building so much things that we never use and claim we need?
