Um...I don't really know what's going on with this but apparently in February, lots of people's TV's won't work unless they have a newer one or a different cable (something like that) and this just got me thinking...with all of this new crap being invented...where does the old stuff go. I mean, phones, iPods, gaming systems, TV's, DVD's, washers, dryers, computers, cars blah blah blah. I mean it's a waste of time. It's a waste of energy, It's a waste of material and it's a waste of money. Not to mention most of the OLD stuff gets put in a friggen land fill. (I mean, don't get me wrong it's different if the thing breaks) but with all this new stuff, we can't keep up and we spend our time and money on things that we already have...only "new and improved".
This post sounds a little scatter brained but I don't have the energy to sit and make it any clearer. Why is it that no one is ever really happy unless they have the newest thing? I am perfectly fine with my GameCube...and Gameboy Color/Gameboy Advance and my oldish nano and my crappy upgrade of a cell phone and the big gigantic TV that's in my living room and my little DVD collection. I am perfectly FINE.
It just makes me mad though...this whole DVD/Blue Ray crap. I have spent years buying DVD's and my collection has grown significatly...but I don't want to suddenly need to change the TYPE of DISC (they look the same to me!) just for some stupid whatever.
IT'S SOOOO FRIGGIN STUPID!!! STUPID I SAY!.....I will never understand people....
