ok since nobody else cares, i'm actually going to make a post
ok everybody hates global warming and we're all looking for a good alternate fuel source
how about...
ANTIMATTER
(I put it in green to show i care about the environment)
well now my font is ****ed up
just great
anyway
back to antimatter
nuclear power plants opperate at 1.5 percent efficiency. on the other hand, antimatter works at near 100 percent effeciency. the downside: highly reactable and will explode if it contacts anything, even air. so far scientistshave made it one atom at a time, but could it get dangerous?
well i can't put up a poll, but i want some oppinions on this

Hmm, did you know global warming isn't actually even real?
SAYS YOU!!!!
antimatter rocks, by the way. good idea.
1. global warming IS real
b. it is mostly natural
c. pollution doesn't exactly help either way
4. in the words of Echo, get some balls and give your name
e. i know. im full of good ideas. i just dont hand them out like candy on halloween because then there would be less problems in the world. hence less fun
Huh. Sounds... dangerous. o.o I'd rather not use something so easily explosive as an alternative fuel.
And to be honest, I'm not sure what I think about global climate change either. But still, alternative fuel, I'm sure, helps more than hurts, though I heard today that Ethanol uses a lot of water, which I also heard we needed to conserve. But, I guess it's a sacrafice.
water wouldn't need to be conserved if people would spend less time killing other people (not referring to iraq) and more time researching things to HELP the world. we would also be in a much better situation no?
OMIGOSHISNESSES!!!! I read about antimatter. DUUUUDE crazy sayee lo shiznatch if it gets in the wrong hands. but, i think if we could have proper testing facilities for and make sure its COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE TO TERRORISTS we could save the entire freaking world!!!!!!! or at least cut down pollution to zilchwad. ...that's if the leaders of the oil companies don't assinate the people inventing it, of course. you've always got to think aout the politics in today's wirls.
sorry for all the spelling errors there. oh, and about global warming, just to chuck my opinion into the mess, i believe it's real and, although the heating of the earth is a natural process, it should be happening more gradually than it is and should have probably been at thislevel in a few more thousands of years. Yeah.
and Salom dude, no offense, but you letter E is a SHIT way of looking at things...you're not a babyboomer, are you?
ummm heard of sarcasm??
andddd.... im not in my mid-sixties...
im in my mid-sixteens

Who are you, EcoMindedFreak? Why are you revealing annonymous's identity? Huh?!
Anyway, still sounds interesting. It'd be nice if we... didn't kill that many people. It'd be pretty great, actually. o.o
WHOA! I'm not the anonymous who said "SAYS YOU!!!"
I'm the one who said
"Huh. Sounds... dangerous. o.o I'd rather not use something so easily explosive as an alternative fuel.

Not that it matters. Just clarifying.
And I said this post:

I think I'll just use my name for now...
...sorry!! I'm HORRIBLE with 'net sarcasm. I NEVER know if someone is sarcastic or not!!!! Sorry Salom!!...I think i just take things too seriously when I'm tired(which i was when i commented that) no offense meant!!!!
i didnt even make the poll and yet im still the only one who voted.
theres really something wrong with the world...
I HATE GLOBAL WARMING! besides do you live in kansas?
While antimatter is a great idea there are downsides that are quite dangerous. Just a little drop is about as explosive as the bomb the Americans dropped on Japan.
So like anything else in this world it has a great side but the greater the good the harsher the evil. Can we really afford that evil though?
I recently did some studying on this subject cause I read the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown (great book by the way) and antimatter is a big part of it and I wanted to see how realistic it was. Dan Brown got it almost perfect. If you want to see the dark said of antimatter then I suggest you read it.
